| With snow settling all over the ground, it feels like winter time. At last. I love winter, cold weather, and snow. I especially love Christmas, although I'm not Christian. Oh well, I suppose. Christianity is losing its control over the world.
Out with organized religion anyway.
I am getting a computer tommorrow. In a sense. I am borrowing my aunt's computer, I suppose is more correct. She doesn't use it, except to make cards. Since she's made all of her necessary Christmas cards, it is time for me
Everyone should watch Il Posto by Ermanno Olmi. It's one of the best films I have ever seen. I've seen a lot of films, because I'm a nerd.
I am still working at Giant Eagle in Murraysville. I've had a few interesting customers including (but not limited to): a guy who yelled at me because I asked if he wanted Cash Back, a woman who yelled at me because I forgot to scan her 25 cent coupon, and an old man who started to twitch violently when the receipt machine got jammed. Idiots, idiots, everywhere.
That's all for now. | | |
| Hello all.
I haven't been online lately on account of my computer's death. A burial will be scheduled for later this week. | | |
| Okay, so I have a new layout and it has some annoying box above my blog entries and I don't know how to get rid of it. It annoys me, just ignore it. At any rate, life has been relatively interesting throughout the last couple days. Alex is cooler than Jesus, and Dennis and I will probably hang out this coming weekend. Woo diggity.Last night was Alex's party, which was pretty cool. A plethora of beautiful people were there. I couldn't go till after work, which ended at 10:00 PM. By that time I was terribly exhausted and not really in the mood for a party, but it was fun anyways.I'm a cashier now, at work, rather than a bag boy. Yee haw. Cashiering is more exciting. That is, as exciting as work can be when it's Giant Eagle.I took a nap today. My brother and his (rather) large group of friends woke me up because they were yelling and cheering at the football game. By the end of the game, the yelling and cheering subsided and was replaced by grunts of disgust. If I was an avid football watcher, I would probably have been a fellow grunter. As I said earlier, life has been interesting over the last several days. You reading this probably think that my standards regarding what is interesting or not is rather low, but hey. That's life. ~fin~

| Today has been long and dull. I went to school, work to get my paycheck, and then drama club.
I bought 4 energy bars at Giant Eagle. They have an addictive
nature, almost like crack. Or nicotine. At any rate, the
peanut butter ones are far better than the chocolate. And always,
always get all natural. Natural food tastes better.
Then it was off to drama club practice, with all of the lovely people
there. Maria yelled at me for smoking, like she always
does. She has a point...at any rate, I promised her that I would
quit smoking.
And now I'm home. I have to study for Driver's Ed (the test is
next week, but I failed the last two and I will not have a failing
grade on my college transcripts). And I have to do Geometry and
study for a Biology Vocab test. I believe that's all. I
probably should get started on my English paper...but 400 words isn't
that much. I can do it some other day.
"Hope is all that's left. And courage. Courage to take the action to take hope into fruition."
